Research Funding
Dr. Harrison is happy to announce that the World Anti-Doping Agency has agreed (upon completion of an ethics review) to provide 3 years of funding for the group.
The project that has been funded will investigate how capillary electrophoresis can be applied to test for the use of blood doping techniques such as blood transfusions and the use of hemoglobin based oxygen carriers.
The group is very happy for the support that WADA will be providing and to be part of the fight against doping in sport.
