Tamara Strohauer, fourth-year undergraduate student at San Diego State University, was recently awarded two SDSU scholarships: the Conrad Klement Memorial Scholarship and the Osher Scholarship for California Community College Transfer Students.
The Conrad Klement Memorial Schoarship is made possible by an endowment to SDSU by Conrad Klement. Applicants are selected based on a personal essay about why they need financial assistance, any obstacles they have overcome, what they intend to do with their education, why getting an education is important to them, and an accomplishment that is a source of pride for them, as well as a letter of recommendation and other supporting documents.
The Osher Scholarship for California Community College Transfer Students is made possible by a grant from the Bernard & Barbro Foundation of the Jewish Community Federation and Endowment Fund. The
Osher Scholarship for California Community College Transfer Students provides
scholarships for SDSU students with demonstrated financial need who are
transferring, or have transferred, from a California community college and who
are, or will be, attending SDSU as juniors or seniors.
Congratulations, Tamara!
