Clearly things have been busy with the Harrison Lab recently, so much so that there hasn’t been time to update the news section in quite some time. But with the end of the semester drawing near there is much to celebrate. So in no particular order, here are some of the accolades that have been amassed by the lab:
-
• As a whole the lab won our division of the the “Shut the Sash” competition organized by the Green Campus Program. In addition to a plaque the lab will be treated to celebratory lunch in the near future.
-
• Caroline Davis has been recognized for her strong academic work as a recipient of the Harry E. Hamber Memorial Scholarship.
-
• Devin Wakefield was also recognized for his academic achievements in being named the “Outstanding Student” of the year; an honor which is given each year to only one student graduating from the Chemistry & Biochemistry Department.
Congratulations once again to the whole group, I am sure that there will be more good news to share in the months to come.
