BIOL 549 is an upper division course on Microbial Genetics and Physiology. The course will focus on bacteria and phage. This course will provide a conceptual and practical background in microbial genetics and physiology, and will emphasize problem solving and experimental approaches to answer questions in these fields.

A brief description of the course follows, but course announcements, supplements, exams, and homework will be posted on the accompanying BlackBoard site.
