COMP 670 Seminar: Problems in Computational Science

Class format: The class will consist of separate modules with each focusing on a different problem . The purpose is to provide an example of a current research problem and not as a survey of the entire field. Each module will require a project, report, and presentation (at the discretion of instructor). A rough outline of the expected course is presented below but details will vary, depending on each instructor. R. Mellors will serve mainly as coordinator for the class. Office hours will be posted by each instructor.

 

Grading: Based on an average of the modules. All students must complete all modules.Attendance will be a consideration.
