Background & Research Interest
 
Erin graduated from Northwestern University in June of 2002 with a double-major in communication sciences and international studies. Prior to entering the SDSU/UCSD Joint Doctoral Program in Clinical Psychology, she worked with Dr. William Davis Gaillard at the National Institutes of Health and Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, D.C., using functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) to research the plasticity of language in children with epilepsy.  Currently, Erin is working on a language paradigm to  investigate plasticity and functional reorganization of language in children and adults with focal brain lesions.
