Background & Research Interest
 
Laurie graduated from Wesleyan University in May of 2003 with a double-major in neuropsychology and sociology. Prior to entering the Masters program at SDSU, she worked in Dr. David Amaral's lab at UC Davis, in Harry Sinnamon's lab at Wesleyan University, and under the direction of Dr. Alison Caldwell Andrews at Yale-New Haven Hospital. At BDIL, Laurie worked on a project that will use eye-tracking and functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) to investigate the oculomotor and neurological substrates of visual search in adolescents with autism.
