Summer Bridge |
Jumpstart Your College Education!
|
The SSS Summer Bridge Program is an opportunity
to get a jumpstart on your college education! Students get the complete
university experience of taking classes for credit, learn about
support programs, and take Math and English review courses in conjunction
with the Educational Opportunity Program (EOP)
at SDSU. Academic and financial advising is also provided.
Eligibility: Any entering freshman or community
college transfer student accepted to SDSU in the fall may apply.
Students must be the first in his/her family to go to college in
the U.S. and/or be financially eligible for a Federal Pell Grant.

Reasons to Apply to the SSS Summer Bridge:
- Help with paperwork to get ready for the fall
semester
- Free classes for credit to prepare for the
rigor of SDSU classes
- SSS Annual Retreat in mountains
- Orientation Reception for you and your parents.
- Introduction to special SDSU programs in research,
medicine, career preparation, etc.
- Free diagnostic testing on learning style,
study skills, science process skills and personal organization.
- It's just FUN!
