In this office, students are advised by
both Barbara Huntington and by the peer advisors pictured on the home
page. We will advise you to explore Volunteer
Opportunities and Research
Opportunities. We can point you towards financial
aid and show you other
advisors' web pages. Before you take those important tests: improve
your reading score! and check out Dr.
Eisen's helpful hints.
The Preprofessional Health Advising Office
provides many tips for the application process; from the application
timeline you will learn when you need to start writing
your essay, and when to start bringing your interview
skills up to speed before you reach an interview
committee: you can even find
interview reports from students! Of course, to get to those interviews
you'll need letters
of recomendation, cheap
airfare and it probably wouldn't hurt to explore some ethical
issues. The Preprofessional Health Advising office offers information
about a variety of internships
(download the internship
application here), summer
programs, minority
programs, and postbac
programs.
