San Diego State University Mathematics Research Experience for Undergraduates and Teachers

This program is open to all inservice teachers (primarily grades 9-12) with an interest in mathematics research; support is limited to those that meet several conditions. Supported teachers receive a stipend of $7,640; in addition, a variety of social and recreational activities will be provided. No housing will be provided; you will be expected to commute to the San Diego State University campus daily.

To apply, submit a completed application form, and have two people submit letters of recommendation. These letters must be written by mathematicians, mathematics teachers, or school administrators. One letter should be from your department chair, assistant principal, or principal. Deadline for all materials: March 3, 2008.
