San Diego State University Mathematics Research Experience for Undergraduates and Teachers

A total of seven undergraduate students and three high school teachers will participate between the two projects. Each project will be led by a graduate student and directed by a faculty member at San Diego State University. In addition, a limited number of unsupported participants might be permitted.

Please use the correct application materials -- there are four mutually exclusive choices.

To receive support, you must satisfy all of the following requirements.

1. Undergraduates/teachers must be citizens or permanent residents.
2. Undergraduates must be full-time mathematics majors in Fall 2008.
3. You agree to devote full time to the program June 23 -- August 15, and not engage in other coursework, employment, or other activities that interfere with your duties.
4. You agree to maintain up-to-date contact information for ten years.
5. You agree to attend at least one professional conference.
6. You agree to give at least one seminar/talk concerning your work.
