Group study sessions made up from 5 to 15 students enrolled in the same section of a particular class. The workshop is designed to supplement the course material learned in the course lectures. Workshop Leaders/Facilitators develop at least one worksheet per week for the group to work on. The worksheets are designed to reinforce the material learned in class by providing practice problems. The workshop follows the pace of the course while providing a session where questions/problems can be discussed in a collaborative manner. Currently workshops are offered in Chem 201 and Chem 232, but each semester can vary.
