Hispanic Americans and Cancer Clinical Trials

We are currently in the fourth year of a National Cancer Institute funded project to develop and evaluate a cancer clinical trials education program for the Hispanic community. This three part-project consisted of a measurement validation phase, two rounds of community-based focus groups to support intervention development, and a randomized controlled trail to evaluate the impact of the program on knowledge of and attitudes towards clinical trials participation. This project is being conducted in collaboration with Dr. Georgia Robins Sadler. The final program is available in both English and Spanish.
