Coping with Cancer in the Deaf Community 

We are currently in the third year of a National Cancer Institute funded project to develop and evaluate a cancer education program for the Deaf Community focused on coping with cancer. The final project will consist of 80 brief videos in American Sign Language, which will be evaluated through three randomidized controlled trials. This project is being conducted in collaboration with Dr. Georgia Robins Sadler

Poster awarded 2nd place for best poster at the 2013 International Cancer Education Conference, Seattle, WA.
