Marcelo Nieto Awarded SDSU Student Research Symposium Provost Award

Marcelo Nieto, fourth-year SDSU undergraduate student, was awarded one of twelve Provost Awards given for outstanding poster presentations at the San Diego State University Student Research Symposium (March 7-8, 2014). The poster presentation, “Developing a Coping with Cancer Education Program for the Deaf Community,” was on the development of a new coping with cancer education program in American Sign Language for the Deaf community.
