Goals
• Promote and fund research projects to investigate botanical medicines.
• Establish a clearinghouse for scientific publications and databases
of Latin American herbal remedies
• Facilitate partnerships among public and private research institutions
in the Americas as well as biotechnology, nutritional and pharmaceutical
communities.
• Promote the participation and the exchange of international, multidisciplinary
faculty and students among research institutions in the Americas.
