Configuring Your E-mail Client Software for Secure Transmission

Secure Transmission is achieved with Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology, a cryptographic protocol that provides secure communications on the Internet for such things as email. The following documents are instruction guides, prepared by the Sciences Computing Help Desk, for configuring SSL connections for Eudora and other e-mail clients on various MacOS X and Windows platforms.
