Algorithms for Nonlinear Optimization

Nonlinear optimization is a diverse field, with many applications in engineering, economics, and finance. In this course we will restrict our attention to the main types of algorithms for the solution of general unconstrained and constrained optimization. Our emphasis will be not only on theory, but on practical aspects of implementation.
