This short course will address common problems in computational science applications and will present a number of solutions using robust numerical software tools that spawn from more than two decades of research in software development for High Performance Computing Systems. Participants should expect to learn about techniques used to solve common computational problems to be exposed to an introduction on the use of the tools and to become familiarized with criteria for selecting the techniques, methods and tools in a particular problem area. In this course, we will review all the functionality available in the ACTS Collection and will focus in the Numerical Libraries. The software presented here is freely available and widely used by the computational sciences international community. |
