This fin whale skull was flensed and stuck into a bug box for Dermestid beetles to clean more thoroughly. Since it is a baby the skull is very porous and delicate, so we had to pull it out of the box early (so the beetles wouldn't eat the skull). The completion of the process was done by hand.
