Currently calculus tutors are available at
the hours listed below. Check back regularly for updates.
If a tutor is not present when indicated
below, check the door: sometimes a tutor is unavailable and a note has been put
there. Also, check the room again: the tutor may be helping someone at the
back. The calculus tutors should be wearing a badge.
If there is no notice on the door to explain
an absence of a tutor, please let the director of the tutor room, Corey
Manchester (office: GMCS 524; tel. 619-5941492, or leave message at 619-594
6191), know the exact time and date.

Students should seek help from a tutor that
has been assigned to their course.
Tutors are only available during the hours
indicated above. However, the above hours may expand/change in due course:
check back to this page periodically for updates.
Students are encouraged to ask for help on
concepts from their current algebra or calculus class that they are having
difficulty understanding, and in getting started (only) on exercises that they
are attempting to complete. They should be discouraged from using it to seek
private tutoring on material from classes that they have missed, or for
substantial help on homework assignments.
Note that statistics tutors also use BAM 247: calculus tutors are not
required to help with statistics classes.
