General Parasitology (BIOL 596), 3 unit class

 meets departmental organismal

biology requirement

Lecture topics: Basics in biology, morphology, ecology, systematics, and  evolution of parasites of medical and veterinary importance. Parasitic diseases and disorders.

Lab topics: Practical training in microscopic identification, collection, and preservation of parasites.

Class Hours: TTH 8 - 8:50AM (lect), TH 9 - 11:40AM (lab)
