Preparing For
Exams
Plan- Make sure you
are prepared to take the exams. This should allow you to
focus on studying the material, rather than searching for
the material to study. To help you prepare, be sure to correct
answers on quizzes, complete chapter readings, answer assigned
questions, organize lecture notes, and download study aids.
Time- Midterm exams
are held on the scheduled days and last the entire class
period (1:15 h). The final exam is held during finals week
(2 hours are given).
Format- Midterm Exams
have 75 multiple choice questions (worth 150 points). The
final exam has 100 multiple choice questions (worth 200
points).
Testing Materials-
All exams use the ParScore
No. 289 form (Narrow Version). The only other
thing you need is a No. 2 pencil (and don't forget your
brain!). There are no other materials allowed: No books,
notes, calculators, computers, or cell phones.
Place- HH 130
Cheating- Strict adherence
to SDSU policies regarding cheating will be followed. Students
suspected of cheating will receive 0 points and will be
reported to university officials. With over 200 students
and the close proximity of seating, different versions of
exams are given at the same time.
