Your Professor

Dr. Bradford Hollingsworth - Thanks for visiting! I hope this website will aid you during the semester. Remember, don't abuse the information... in other words, don't think that you can simply review the website and expect to earn a passing grade.

Biography - My main job is at the San Diego Natural History Museum where I am the Curator of Herpetology. So, I'm only a part-time professor at SDSU. I drive up from Balboa Park on Tuesdays and Thursdays to teach this class. I grew up in both Maryland and northern California, received my B.S. and M.S. from SDSU, and earned my Ph.D. from Loma Linda University in Riverside. I've been fascinated with animals for my entire life, so teaching this course has been a load of fun.

Research Interests - As a herpetologist, I study the amphibians and reptiles of southern California and Baja California, México. My main interest is the morphological and molecular evolution of lizards from islands in the Gulf of California.
