Hello!

The photosynthesis simulation you're trying to reach is not a web page. It is a stand-alone program that resides on the computers in the Biology 100 laboratories. If you are working on one of those computers right now, you can launch (begin) that program using these steps:

• Select "finder" from the menu under the small icon on the upper right corner of your screen or click on the desktop.

• Double click on the photosynthesis icon located in the dashboard (the array of icons on the right or bottom of the desktop). The photosynthesis icon has a small green leaf and a sun on it. Once you click this the "Logal Explorer" application will launch after the Mac switches to "classic" mode.

• A window with the word "Explorer" will open in the middle of your screen. Click on that window.

• Follow the directions in your lab manual p 84, starting with 3): From the photosynthesis main menu, select "Explorations".
