Announcements cover a range of topics, including issues related to the web site and issues related to the class or individual labs.

1/22/04- Dr. Weidner will not be able to host help sessions in room 375 any more due to budget cuts. People who would like to talk with her should consider coming to her Bio 100 Lab, Section 23, room 377 (PSFA) Tuesdays at 2:00.

1/21/04- Changed nutrition analaysis link to new one at Boston College since the NATS site used for the past 3 years changed this month to a commercial site. Bio 100 staff are looking into better nutrition analysis alternatives

1/20/04- Posted room schedule for Spring, Still a lot of room for students in section # 23, Tuesdays at 2:00 in PSFA 377

1/19/04- Posted Spring syllabus yesterday, schedule today

11/05/03- Posted the Nature Center Assignment in both Word versions (better for printing) and web versions.

9/10/03 - Completed posting course docs for Fall, exception: Nature center assignment

4/2/03 - I've posted the Nature center assignment on the web under the "course Info" link. Or you can click here: Nature Center Assignment. This same link also has a WORD version of the assignment. Printed versions were handed out in class last week. The formatting on the printed version was good. The formatting on either version available on line may be quite strange when printed. If you are planning on taking notes on one and re-writing answers more carefully on another copy to turn in, turn in the one handed out in class. Don't forget the re-entry stamp on the front!

3/10/03 - I've removed from most computers a page called "bio 100 links" that appeared on the desktop on the lab computers. This page was not on our server but resident on each computer and was out of date. Use the "Weekly links" button on the home page of our web site.

3/10/03 - Added review links mentioned in lab manual, lab 8, to the "weekly links" page. The URL for the first web site listed as a review of sex-linked inheritance is no longer valid as written. You can access it from the weekly links on our site.

3/4/03 - Dr. Jeanne Weidner, the lab manual author and bio 100 lecturer, will be in room 375 each Monday at 2:00 to help students study for lab, to answer general questions, or as a last-chance make-up of the previous week's labs. It is still prefereable to attend another regular section of lab when you miss but this is now available as a last resort. Get help with your experiments or check to see if your presentation is good enough.
