Dr. Lee McClenaghan

Dr. Lee McClenaghan received his Bachelor of Science
degree from Colorado State University and his Ph.D. from the
University of Kansas. He joined the Biology Department
faculty at San Diego State University in 1977 as an
assistant professor. He was promoted to professor in 1985
and served as the Department's Associate Chair from 1990 to
1995. He has taught or co-taught introductory courses for
both biology majors and nonmajors, as well as courses in
ecology, genetics and evolution, and conservation genetics.
His research interests include evolution, ecology and
population genetics of mammals, especially endangered
species.
