As announced in class, we will be holding a "special" anti-microbrial lecture this week. I have added links on the syllabus page to some papers that we will be discussing in class this week. I will be posting the keys to Quiz 3 and 4 in the display case outside LS 326. I will no longer be posting keys on the web page. You should get them back tonight.

Dr. Glembotski will be presenting today's lecture on cardiovascular/renal pharmacology. I will be covering next week's topics of anti-microbial and anti-cancer pharmacology.

I hope your ready for today's quiz on ANS pharmacology!

You can now view or download the Pharmacokinetics practice problems. There is a Word version (download), and an HTML version (view only).

I haven't yet graded Quiz 3, because we'll be giving you a little more time to work on it this Wednesday.

We will have the Quiz #4: Pharmacokinetics first thing on Wednesday, which should take 30-45 minutes. Then we'll talk a little about adrenergic receptors. Then you'll get the rest of class to finish Quiz #3.

Due to popular request, I have put together a few pharmacokinetics practice problems. You can download the MS Word version, or view the html version. I will post a key on Monday before the PK quiz on Wednesday.

I have finished grading the quizzes. Most of the class did very well! You can view the key here or from the syllabus page. (No longer available)

There is a slight change in the syllabus: Dr. Glembotski will be presenting next week's lecture on the ANS drugs, and I will be covering the following week's lecture on cardiovascular/renal drugs.

If you don't have Powerpoint, you can view the homework solutions online.

Study hard for next week's quiz!!

(note from Joshua Martindale)

Next week's lectures have been added.

I will grade the quizzes over the weekend.

We will be keeping the "white boxes" in the Powerpoint presentation, so they can be filled in during class.

Date:  9/07/01
(note from Joshua Martindale)

I have fixed the links to download the Powerpoint presentations.

The projector in LS 132 is repaired, so we shouldn't have to relocate again.

The group discussion questions can be downloaded from the syllabus page. Don't be surprised if one or more are found on Quiz 1!

Have a great weekend!

(note from Dr. Glembotski)

Hey, Pharmacology students!! You might notice that the class has changed to Wed evenings from 6-8:30 p.m., and we are in room LS 132. This is reflected on the online schedule of classes, but not the hard copy. This means we will cover a week's worth of material each Wed evening. Please visit the syllabus before attending class tomorrow and download the lectures so you have the appropriate notes in class to follow along with.

We have about 40 students in class and we will divide up into groups tomorrow evening.

See you tomorrow. It's going to be a great semester for Pharmacology!!
