The Therapy Procedures Checklist (TPC)

Thank you for your interest in the Therapy Procedures Checklist (TPC). The TPC was developed to assess therapists' reports of the techniques they employ when working with child and adolescent clients. The TPC was originally presented in the following journal article.

Weersing, V. R., Weisz, J. R., & Donenberg, G. R. (2002). Development of the Therapy Procedures Checklist: A therapist-report measure of technique use in child and adolescent treatment. Journal of Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology, 31, 168-180. [download pdf]

The TPC is a copyrighted measure; however, we do allow it to be used free-of-charge in non-profit research.  In return, we ask for four things: (a) an abstract and aims of your research study, (b) a write-up on final results and copies of any papers, (c) basic descriptive statistics for how the TPC performs in your sample, and (d) your agreement not to distribute the measure but to refer any interested colleagues to this web page or to Dr. Robin Weersing, so they can request permission separately. If you are interested in using the TPC, please email Dr. Weersing with an official request, including an attached abstract of your study and written acceptance of these conditions.
