Responsibilities:
The Graduate
School of Public Health at SDSU and the San Diego
State University Foundation has 2 full time
Research Faculty positions (Assistant/Associate
Professor equivalent) with its two health behavior
research centers, CBEACH and BACH. This will be a
renewable 2 to 3 year contract. Responsibilities
will include; leading and collaborating in NIH and
other research applications, analyzing data,
co-authoring manuscripts for publication, mentoring
MPH, Doctoral and Postdoctoral students, assisting
in teaching one class in the GSPH.

Minimum
Qualifications: Requires
a doctoral degree with specialization in behavioral
sciences or public health, granstmanship and
publishing in peer-reviewed journals. The ability
to report to work on time; follow directions from a
supervisor; interact effectively with co-workers;
understand and follow posted work rules and
procedures; accept constructive criticism; and for
managers and supervisory personnel to lead and
manage others.

Preferred
Qualifications: The ideal
candidates will be bilingual (English/Spanish) with
a strong understanding of Mexican and Mexican
American cultures.

Selection
Process: The
selection process may consist of completing an SDSU

a performance exercise to evaluate the applicant's
skills, training, experience and personal
qualifications for this position.
