Julie Desmond, Research Associate

M.S. Ecology- San Diego State University

She focused her recently completed Master's thesis on fish use of tidal creeks in two nearby coastal wetlands, Sweetwater Marsh and Tijuana Estuary. She is currently working on an analysis and summary of PERL's long-term invertebrates database, as well as maintaining a five-year cordgrass fertilization experiment at Sweetwater Marsh. She has also participated in monitoring the development of the Tidal Linkage Channel, a 1.7-ha restoration project at Tijuana Estuary.
