Adrienne Marriott

Email: marriott@rohan.sdsu.edu

B.S. Biology, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign

Adrienne Marriott spent from birth to age 22 in Urbana, Illinois. At 22 Adrienne decided that she was tired of hot summers and cold winters, so San Diego seemed like the obvious place to relocate. She's been here a year now and has no regrets about coming.

Adrienne got a BS in Biology at the University of Ilinois at Urbana-Champaign. Her undergraduate coursework covered a very broad range of biological subjects, but focused on microbiology and specifically neurobiology. The summer before her final semester of college Adrienne worked on an ongoing field project at the University studying prairie vole population dynamics. It was at this time that Adrienne realized nothing was more fascinating to her than Ecology, and that this was an obvious academic avenue given her historic interest in the natural world.

Adrienne started the Master's program in Ecology at SDSU this August. Her interests are in CO2 effects on global change in mediterranean type ecosystems.
