MathWorks is the company http://www.mathworks.com which produces MATLAB. They have a student version for the Windows  operating system. The MATLAB Student Version is available immediately at the campus bookstore. The Student Version includes MATLAB 6.0, Simulink 4.0, and the Symbolic Math functions at a discounted student price of $99. To qualify for purchase, students must be enrolled at a degree-granting institution and have a valid student ID.
