Admissions Process

  1. By December 31, complete online university application at Cal State Apply
  2. By January 7, complete online MSED program application at Interfolio, which includes unofficial transcripts, 2 essays & 3 letters of recommendation. The Statement of Purpose and the Personal Statement (see the Interfolio instructions) are two different statements, each of which should be limited to approximately 500 words, or about two double-spaced pages.
  3. From January to February, applications reviewed and finalists invited for Zoom interview and on-campus visit

  5. By about March 1, invitations of admissions extended
  6. In April, entering students complete UCSD application
