Neil Aratin, Greg Ellett and James Lynn have been working in the laboratory of marine microbiologist, Dr. Barbara Hemmingsen. They have been conducting a water quality for the new marine laboratory facility on San Deigo Bay, now in the planning phase. they have been quantifying the numbers of coliform bacteria (fecal and total) and endospore formers.
