Reduced positive life experiences

When the error threshold for initial training is reduced below 0.05, the negative information processing biases apparent on the simulated tasks after training on negative examples are not apparent. This phenomenon may suggest that an initial lack of positive life experiences is a vulnerability factor for depression, as suggested by Lewinsohn and Hoeberman (1982).
