- Use tasks which measure responses directly pertaining to the
affective valence of stimuli, since this is what depressed people are
attending to. The valence identification task is one example of such a task.
- Use short stimulus durations on tasks in which biases in
response to the semantic content of stimuli are being investigated.
- Look for relationships between information processing biases on
different tasks
