A Practical Application

Create a 3-D terrain in Bryce ® from a Digital Elevation Model (DEM) and overlaid aerial photo to create a fantastically realistic world.

Step 1: Download DEM using TFMAKE from Truflite

Use our step-by-step online tutorial for Step 1.

Step 2:Create A Grayscale Bitmap from downloaded DEM.

Use Photoshop ® or other Image Editor to align Grayscale “DEM” with bitmap image of topo map or aerial photo.

Step 3: Convert Grayscale Image to “DEM” Using Bryce ®

Step 4 (optional): Overlay ATopographic Map

Step 5: Overlay An Aerial Photograph
